The Story.
The journey of my career began with amazing exposure to the world of art when I was very young. A milestone was going to the Academy of Art in San Francisco. With a BFA Degree I started working as an illustrator, on projects for Hewlett Packard, and several other hi tech companies, also with art directors and graphic designers. I began designing for small businesses, with logos and collateral. The Silicon Valley was a sea of activity, and design opportunities were all around. My work included brochures, folders, product sheets, packaging, and catalogs. For The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, I designed their corporate brochures, which for the first time, included significant copywriting. I moved to Irvine in Southern California where I worked with several agencies and design firms. As the Creative Director for Reid Advertising, I worked primarily with real estate clients, including Taylor Woodrow Homes and Shawntana Development. At Rosen Kennedy & Associates, as a graphic designer, my designs won the agency the Allergan Medical Optics (AMO) account. I moved to Napa Valley and started designing websites, including for Santa Rosa Symphony. Now I live on the coastal area south of San Francisco, my role as copywriter has continually become integral to my design work and life. My work evolves through the uniqueness of projects and new trends.
Like a walk on the beach, finding pebbles or looking at the vast sea, the elements are significant by themselves, together a bigger story can be told. The creative work I do can simply be a logo design, an ad, or some copywriting. Beyond that, to projects like a website design, or a branding package. Every project is an opportunity to explore, be creative and bring clients unique solutions.
The Journey Continues.
